Welcome to the Sleep Healthy Using The Internetâ„¢ (SHUTiâ„¢) program.
In order to use SHUTi, you must have a login and password provided to you.
Please note that this website is for routine sleep related issues. If you have other care needs, please contact the UI EAP at 319-335-2085 during business hours and for more emergent needs, please contact your physician or go to your local Emergency Room.
SHUTi is a personalized and interactive online program that is designed to improve the sleep of adults with insomnia.
Backed by years of National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded scientific research trials conducted at a major medical university, SHUTi is proven to be highly effective in helping individuals who are experiencing sleep difficulties, including:
- Difficulty falling asleep
- Waking in the middle of the night.
- Waking early in the morning.
- Not feeling refreshed upon awakening.
SHUTi was created by a team of experts in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and online psychological interventions. It is an online self-help program that fits your schedule and can be used in the privacy and convenience of your own home.
